So what should I build next, hmmm.... Let me grab some kibbles and bits and see what I can cobble up this time... Ok, we have some 1/8" balsa, BT60, 50, and 20 tubing, a coupler and an Estes nose cone... And some small stuff...

Lets cut up some BT20 sized motor mount tubing and see which one(s) would look the best... We got a pair of each: 9 inch, 6 inch and 3 inch long...

XB-06 Griffin Project |

What if I'll cut some balsa like this ---> Root cord 13.375, sweep 13.75, tip 0 and semi-span 3.0 And with all four of them...

...glued together with Titebond II yellow glue, create a slightly 'Bomarc' looking wing like this <--- And sand all the edges into a kinda sorta semi-airfoil for little less drag and lot sharper look...

Well, since I got started, let me cut two more pieces like these...
So lets shape it some more... ...Looks better, for now...
Or maybe I should redo them, or maybe use these somewhere else...

Since the wing looks good, lets epoxy on a pair of brass lugs...
And cut open the body tube to see whats inside... Dang, its empty !

...And glue them together. Nope, does not look right to me...
Well, in that case - lets stuff it with this BT50 mmt/stuffer tube combo...
And glue on a strip of 1/8" balsa to mount the wing onto...
